The Bactra ReviewCommodify Your Dissent
One of the essays puts forth the strange, almost Leninist notion that Taylorism
made managers obsolete, driving them to ever more outlandish justifications of
their existence; I rather suspect all the blather about taking quick hits of
chaos in the john between paradigm shifts is little more than a way of
reconciling people raised in the popular culture to bureaucratic business as
usual --- ``the rubber cage,'' in Gellner's phrase.
