Unlike, say, Kevin Kelly, the editor of Wired, who wrote a (much less sophisticated) book on self-organization u.s.w., Out of Control: The Rise of Neo-Biological Civilization, and titled the last chapter ``The Nine Laws of God.'' He proceeds to name them, with examples. (``Use pretentious and illegible typography'' is not, strangely, among them.)
