Taken to an absurd degree by the horrid Wired (3.07) story on
Richard Dawkins which carried the headline on the front cover, ``Selfish
Genes and Memes Are the New Mass Media'' --- which must qualify for some sort
of Incomprehension Above and Beyond the Call of Duty award, even in
Wired.
