In particular, there's one where he subdued the peoples of Gog and Magog, and imprisoned them behind a wall of iron, from which they will escape in the End Times. Not only is this a curious blend of the Bible, secular history, and apparently rumors of the Great Wall of China, but it is extremely widely-spread: it was known in medieval Europe, and my grandfather learned it growing up in Afghanistan.
