The Santa Fe Institute's complex systems summer school and graduate workshop in computational social science are taking applications now. Both are outstanding ways of learning about complexity, not just from really good instructors but also from first-rate fellow students, in a setting which could hardly be nicer. (Honestly compels me to note that the summer school has inexplicably tapped a someone with no relevant credentials to teach machine learning and statistics...)
