Heard About Detroit, Heard About Pittsburgh PA

I'm traveling tomorrow from one to the other, at Chris Genovese's invitation, to give a talk to the Carnegie-Mellon Statistics Department (Monday, Dec. 20th, 4:30 pm in A53 Baker Hall). Since this will be the fourth talk I'll have given in a month, I'm reasonably in practice, and there's some chance I'll speak in complete sentences and finish on time. At least, I hope so; failure would be a gross abuse of Chris's hospitality. Such dishonor could only be expunged through seppuku, post-docs being academic ronin, and there's nothing more frustrating than trying to arrange for a wakizashi and a second on short notice, especially during the holiday rush.
